Zorada Temmingh will present a programme of her own organ inprovisations from the magnificent Moederkerk in Stellenbosch.
Concerts Connect presents Zorada Temmingh in a live organ concert on 22 November 2020 at 15:00 from the magnificent Moederkerk in Stellenbosch. For the first time, Concerts Connect will present this concert to a live audience in Moederkerk as well as stream the concert live to an online audience in real time.
Zorada Temmingh is considered one of South Africa’s foremost organ improvisers. In addition to being the first South African to release a CD with organ improvisations, she was also the first to do soundtrack improvisations for silent movies. Zorada will present a programme of her own improvisations on well-known and much-loved Christmas Carols. The programme will also include a Partita on ‘God is Liefde’ (God is Love) and ‘The Hunchback Suite’ which contains the main themes from her soundtrack improvisation for the silent movie “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”.

Purchase your ticket to either the in-person live performance at Moederkerk (R150 adults | R120 pensioners) or the online livestream performance (R100 per device) by selecting the appropriate ticket category. Both the live in-person and online concert will start at 15:00. The livestream will be available for 72 hours from the start of the concert.
